Debate moderator, Spectrum News 1's Mario Anderson, asked the four candidates what limits, if any, should the U.S. place on its military involvement in the Middle East.
“We need to lean into diplomacy, especially in the region, and we also need to ensure that an executive can no longer submit any sort of orders for this type of sweeping action on a military stance,” Petrey said.
Federal Gun Laws
“We need to move back to a model of community policing, where police are trusted members of the community instead of just being armed to the hilt,” Petrey said. “Being shot in school is a uniquely American way to die, and we have to start doing something about it if we want anything to change.”
Kentucky's primary election is Tuesday, May 19.
